Julieta Guzman Whiteaker
June 9, 1930 – September 10, 2025

Julieta “Julie” Whiteaker passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, in Modesto, California, surrounded by her loving children. She was 95 years old.

Julie was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 55 years, Delbert Whiteaker. Together, they built a beautiful life rooted in love, faith, and family.

Born in Guatemala, Julie made the courageous journey to the United States in 1955 to marry Delbert and begin their life together on the family ranch in Los Banos, California. There, she embraced her new home and raised a close-knit family, always placing her loved ones at the center of her life.

Julie was a cherished mother to her three children: Donna Brown (Larry), Judy Boring (David), and Steve Whiteaker (Lisa). She was a proud grandmother of 8; Jeremy Whiteaker (April), Justin Brown (Sereena), Casey White, Dalton Brown, Amanda Aldrich (William), Trevor Leitz, Joshua Whiteaker, and Jacob Whiteaker. Her legacy continues through her 15 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.

Known for her quiet strength, independence, warmth, unwavering faith, and giving nature, Julie lived a full and vibrant life. She enjoyed reading, attending church, and traveling the world—visiting five of the seven continents. In her later years, she was an enthusiastic sports fan, especially when cheering on the LA Dodgers, Golden State Warriors, and any soccer game or tournament she could find on TV.

Julie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A private graveside service for the family will be held on October 10, 2025, at the Whiteaker family plot in Los Banos Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Natun Guatemala in her memory. https://natunguatemala.org/
