Los Banos High School Wrestlers Excel at SJS Regionals/Divisional Championships

Los Banos High School’s wrestling teams have once again proven their mettle at the Sac-Joaquin Section (SJS) Regionals / Divisionals Championships, with the boys’ team capturing the championship title for the second consecutive year. The victory adds another blue banner to the school’s collection, underscoring the team’s dominant performance in the highly competitive event. The girls’ team also demonstrated their prowess, securing an 18th place finish among 30 teams.

Over the past few weeks, the student-athletes have engaged in a rigorous preparation regimen, balancing their athletic commitments with academic responsibilities. Their dedication to maintaining fitness, completing assignments, and adhering to a disciplined schedule highlights their commitment to excellence.

The upcoming challenge for these athletes is the “Sac-Joaquin Men’s and Women’s Masters” tournament in Stockton. Qualifying for this event is a significant achievement, reflecting the athletes’ skill and determination.
