Los Banos, CA (January 8, 2026) — Sparkle Soojian, host of the talk show Everything Sparkle, recently interviewed Dr. Phil during a trip to Texas, she told the Los Banos Enterprise.
Soojian said she traveled to Texas on Jan. 5 and attended a taping of Dr. Phil, marking her second time being present at a show taping after attending one more than a decade ago when the program was filmed in Los Angeles. She said the episode filmed that day is scheduled to air in early February.
After the day’s filming concluded, Soojian said she spent time speaking with Dr. Phil and described him as friendly and approachable. During that conversation, she said he explained why he left California, citing challenges related to taxes and the cost of operating a business. She said he also discussed Doctors on Demand, a telehealth platform he created, which he said is more affordable to run in Texas.
Soojian said the conversation turned to Everything Sparkle after Dr. Phil noted that the two shows have featured some of the same guests, including Elizabeth Smart. According to Soojian, he then agreed to sit down for an interview for her show that same day, even though he had already completed a full day of filming.
She said the production crew had already begun breaking down the set but quickly reassembled it once the interview was approved. Out of respect for the crew’s time, Soojian said she kept the interview just under 10 minutes.
Soojian described Dr. Phil as calm and easy to interview. She said the interview ended with her asking who he had wanted to interview but never had the opportunity to, and his response surprised her.
The interview airs today at 4 p.m. on her YouTube Channel, Everything Sparkle. Her show is celebrating 7 years on the air in just a few weeks.
