Los Banos, CA (October 17, 2025) — Three students from the Los Banos and Dos Palos area have been recognized among the winners of 93.7 KISS Country/KSKS-FM’s inaugural “Farm-Tastic Four” contest, honoring the Central Valley’s next generation of agricultural leaders.

The station announced that Taite Strohmenger of Los Banos, Zoey Wooten of Los Banos, and Courtney Fernandes of Dos Palos**—**along with Graysen Lopes of Hanford—were selected from entries submitted across the region.

According to the official press release, the contest was open to children and teens ages 5 through 19 who are active in agricultural organizations such as FFA, 4-H, and Grange. Parents, teachers, and community members were invited to nominate deserving young people through the station’s website, ksks.com.

Each of the four winners was featured on-air and online by 93.7 KISS Country and received a $500 Mastercard Gift Card. The prizes were provided by contest sponsors Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella, Hedrick’s Chevrolet, International Agri-Center, and OrCal Inc.

Program Director Andy Winford praised the young honorees, stating in the release:

“From the outpouring of support by our sponsors and listeners, it’s clear the community shares our excitement for the future of farming. The response to Kiss Country’s inaugural ‘Farm-Tastic Four’ promotion was overwhelming, yet it paled in comparison to the inspiring brilliance of the four young leaders we selected. These young women don’t just represent the highest standards in 4-H, FFA, and Grange—they are the driven, intelligent architects of the next generation of agriculture.”

Further details about the contest and the winners’ agricultural achievements are available on the station’s website at www.ksks.com.
