LOS BANOS, CA — During their only meeting of the month on Oct. 2, 2024, the Los Banos City Council unanimously approved an infill project of 25-unit privately gated townhome development known as the Snow Goose Townhomes Project.
According to the City staff report for the item #8A on the agenda, the Snow Goose Townhomes Project is a proposed residential development consisting of 25 townhomes within a private gated community located at the northwest corner of Snow Goose Drive and Creekside Drive intersection. The project site can only be accessed from Snow Goose Drive.
The Los Banos Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 11, 2024, to review the proposed Final Development Plan for Snow Goose Townhomes. Following the presentation of the staff report, public input, and deliberation, the Planning Commission recommended approval with conditions to the City Council.
The project will consist of four-plex and five-plex residential structures in a private-gated townhome development, not otherwise available in a traditional Medium Density Residential Zoning District. Each unit will include an enclosed two-car garage with a driveway.
Following questions from council the project was approved on a 5-0 vote.
