Los Banos, CA (November 19, 2025) — A new round of wet weather is headed toward Los Banos as a Pacific system moves into Merced County late tonight and continues into Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Hanford. Forecasters say rain is most likely before 10 a.m. Thursday, with light precipitation possible on both sides of the morning window.

Los Banos can expect total rainfall between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, based on the current NWS point forecast for the city. Temperatures will remain cool, with today’s high near 54 degrees and light east-southeast winds around 5 mph. Overnight lows will drop into the mid-40s as the system arrives.

While the storm is not expected to produce flooding or major impacts, the National Weather Service advises drivers to be cautious on Thursday morning because wet roads and patchy low visibility are possible. Conditions should gradually improve by midday as the system exits the Valley, with clearer and drier weather expected heading into Friday. Real-time Los Banos updates, including radar and active advisories, are available at weather.gov.
