Los Banos Fire Department’s Quick Response Stops North Santa Monica Garage Fire Last Week

On November 28, 2025 by Karissa Hernandez

Los Banos, CA (November 28, 2025) — On the afternoon of November 19, crews from the Los Banos Fire Department responded to a structure fire at a residence on North Santa Monica Street. According to the fire department’s public social media post, first-arriving crews found a “fully involved garage fire,” with flames venting through the garage door.

Thanks to a “quick and aggressive fire attack,” firefighters were able to confine the blaze strictly to the garage — preventing any fire spread into the main residence. No injuries were reported, and the occupants were reportedly safe.

The cause of the fire was not mentioned in the department’s post, and as of the latest available update, no further details such as property owner identity, labor of repair, or official investigation findings have been made public.
