Los Banos, CA (November 14, 2025) — A 25-year-old woman is suspected of driving under the influence after crashing through the wrong garage in Merced County on Tuesday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials say the woman was traveling along Ward Road when she attempted to park her vehicle — but mistakenly drove it into a garage that did not belong to her. The impact caused significant structural damage to the building.
No injuries were reported, and officers on scene determined the driver showed signs of alcohol impairment. She was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
