Los Banos, CA (November 26, 2025) — A driver escaped major injuries after their vehicle was partially crushed beneath a tractor during a traffic incident on November 25. The collision occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Ward Road and Mason Road, where emergency crews responded and found the car with significant damage to one section. Despite the impact, the driver was able to walk away with only minor injuries, according to officials at the scene.
The Los Banos CHP reported that the tractor was in the process of turning when a Dodge attempted to pass. The maneuver resulted in the tractor rolling over or onto part of the car, causing the substantial damage captured in photos released by authorities. Investigators are reviewing roadway conditions and other factors to determine what led to the collision.
First responders evaluated the driver before clearing the roadway and removing both the damaged vehicle and the tractor involved in the incident. No additional injuries were reported, and CHP has not released further details on those involved.
