
Los Banos, CA (December 1, 2025) — Los Banos CHP released a statement regarding a fatal crash that happened over the weekend. The press release states:
“On November 30, 2025, at approximately 1:35 p.m., the Merced Communications Center (MCC) broadcast a report of a two-vehicle traffic crash on State Route 152, west of Lower Cottonwood Road, with an ambulance responding.
Preliminary investigation indicates a black 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, with one occupant wearing a helmet, was traveling in the number two westbound lane of State Route152, west of Lower Cottonwood Road. A silver 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan, with one occupant, was also traveling in the number two westbound lane of State Route 152, west of Lower Cottonwood Road, ahead of the motorcyclist.
For an unknown reason, the left side of the black Harley-Davidson motorcycle and the right side of the Volkswagen Tiguan collided. The black Harley-Davidson motorcycle subsequently crashed into a guardrail within the center median. The driver of the black Harley-Davidson motorcycle was ejected and was pronounced deceased on scene by Riggs Ambulance paramedics (pending notification). The driver of the silver Volkswagen Tiguan did not sustain any injuries.
Alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a factor in this crash.
