Los Banos Shooting Leaves One Injured, Suspect At Large

LOS BANOS, Calif. – A shooting incident on Wednesday afternoon in the 2200 Block of E. Pacheco Boulevard, Los Banos, resulted in one male victim hospitalized with gunshot wounds. Los Banos Police Department officials reported receiving calls about the shooting around 12:25 p.m., leading to the discovery of the injured adult male inside a Chevron Gas Station.

Emergency services, including police and fire personnel, provided immediate medical aid until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a hospital in the Modesto area for treatment. The current condition of the victim has not been disclosed.

The suspect, last seen running north on Ward Road towards Canal Farm Lane, remains at large. A search operation is underway, with assistance from the Merced County SWAT Team.

The Los Banos Police Department is appealing to the public for any information related to the shooting. Witnesses or those with relevant details are encouraged to contact the police at 209-827-7070.
