LOS BANOS, CA (August 14th, 2025) — Before the bell rang on the first day of the 2025–2026 school year, Los Banos High School seniors gathered at Loftin Stadium for their annual Senior Sunrise event. As dawn broke on Monday, August 11, students shared breakfast and watched the sunrise as a symbolic start to their final year.
The early morning gathering set a celebratory tone. Students greeted each other with laughter and camaraderie while enjoying breakfast under the rising sun. From the stadium, they proceeded through a festive scene complete with silly string, confetti, and cheering, making their way through an inflatable Tiger mascot and across the quad before entering campus.
This tradition has become a hallmark of the school’s senior experience, offering both a moment of reflection and a festive launch into the year ahead.
