New Los Banos PD adds another officer to the force

LOS BANOS — On Thursday, Oct. 16, 2024, the Los Banos Police Department formally welcomed its newest Police Officer, Joshawa Sooch.
Officer Sooch was raised in the City of Dos Palos and attended Dos Palos High School, participating in both the football and swimming teams. After High School, Officer Sooch spent some time as a pest control technician and a pharmacy technician. Officer Sooch was inspired by his uncle, a Deputy Sheriff with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Department, to pursue a career in law enforcement and ultimately enrolled in the Tulare-Kings Counties College of the Sequoias Police Academy.
