Promoted from within the ranks, say hello to Sergeant Juan Soriano!

LOS BANOS, CA — On Tuesday, July 23, 2024, we proudly swore in our 8th Sergeant, Juan Soriano, surrounded by friends and family during a ceremony at the police department’s headquarters. Chief Ray Reyna administered the oath of office and Soriano was then pinned by his father with his new sergeant’s badge as his family looked on.
Sergeant Soriano’s journey with LBPD started as a Code Enforcement Officer, and he has since served as a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Motor Traffic Officer, and Detective.
He also holds a Part-107 drone pilot certificate from the FAA and is a valued member of LBPD’s drone team.
Soriano was pinned by his father with his new sergeant’s badge.
