Los Banos, CA (March 11, 2026) — An 18-year-old Los Banos man has been arrested in connection with several burglary cases in the area, according to the Los Banos Police Department.
Police say Julian Garcia, 18, was taken into custody after detectives located him during an ongoing investigation into a series of burglaries reported in the community. Garcia was arrested for possession of stolen property and possession of an unregistered firearm. He is also suspected of being connected to multiple burglaries.
According to investigators, Garcia was found with several items that have already been confirmed as stolen property. Detectives believe he may be linked to seven open burglary cases currently under investigation in the Los Banos area.
The Los Banos Police Department said tips from residents helped lead to the arrest. Officials credited community members who reported suspicious activity and provided information to investigators.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives continue working to identify possible additional victims.
