Los Banos, CA (October 13, 2025) — Three men have been arrested in connection with a daytime shooting that left one man wounded on October 7 in Los Banos.
Police responded to reports of gunfire around 1:13 p.m. near the intersection of Santa Rita Street and San Luis Street. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from an upper-body gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment; his current condition has not been released.
Investigators located multiple spent shell casings at the scene and identified a suspect vehicle, which led them to several suspects believed to be involved in the shooting.
Following several days of investigation, Los Banos Police arrested Kevin Moreno and Cuahutemoc Torres on Thursday, October 9, in Hollister. A third suspect, Ezekiel Manuel, was taken into custody in Los Banos on Sunday, October 12, according to police.
The Los Banos Police Department continues to work with regional law enforcement partners as the investigation progresses. Detectives have not disclosed the identity of the victim or whether additional suspects are being sought.
