Merced, CA (November 30, 2025) — The Merced Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a strong-arm robbery that occurred earlier this month at Shoe Palace, located inside the Merced Mall.
The incident took place on November 18, 2025, inside the Merced Mall retail store. The department has released an image of the suspect as part of the ongoing investigation and is asking anyone who recognizes the individual or has information on his location to contact police.

Merced Police expressed appreciation for public support and emphasized that community tips can play a key role in solving investigations, especially as Central Valley shopping centers welcome increased visitor traffic heading into the holiday season.
