
Los Banos, CA (December 8, 2025) –A Los Banos man and a Winton man were arrested in Pismo Beach after police responded to an early-morning shoplifting incident at a 7-Eleven on December 6, 2025. According to the Pismo Beach Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 1:25 a.m. and learned at the scene that one of the suspects reportedly pointed a handgun at the store clerk during the crime. Police obtained a description of the vehicle involved and, with the assistance of the city’s license plate reader camera system, located it a short time later in the downtown area. Two male suspects were arrested and booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail, while two female subjects associated with the suspects were interviewed and released.
Police identified 20-year-old Nathaniel Ray Lemus of Los Banos as one of the suspects. He was booked on several charges, including robbery (PC 211), carrying a loaded firearm (PC 25850(a)), committing a felony with a firearm (PC 12022.53(b)), resisting or delaying a peace officer (PC 148(a)(1)), and four out-of-county misdemeanor warrants. His bail was set at $109,000. The second suspect, identified as 22-year-old Rigoberto Cisneros-Lopez of Winton, was booked on charges of prohibited person possessing firearm ammunition (PC 30305(a)(1)), bringing a controlled substance into a jail facility (PC 4573(a)), possession of a controlled substance for sale (PC 11378), disobeying a court order (PC 166(a)(4)), and shoplifting (PC 459.5(a)). His bail was set at $50,000. The Pismo Beach Police Department reported that officers from the Arroyo Grande Police Department, Grover Beach Police Department, San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office, and California Highway Patrol assisted in locating and arresting the suspects.
