LOS BANOS, CA — The Los Banos Police Department Facility was honored with this year’s Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) Northern California Chapter’s Project Achievement Award for buildings less than $50 million. It was presented during the CMAA chapter’s awards, scholarship and industry celebration on May 16, 2024, in San Francisco.
“This was a huge honor and something we are very proud of,” the Los Banos PD wrote in an August 2, 2024, post on Facebook. “Today, we were thrilled to receive our very own copy of the award which will be housed at the new Police Facility. Thank you Vanir Project Management, Swinerton Builders and Shaw Kawasaki Architects for delivering a building that our community can be proud of.”
That day, a duplicate award was presented by Scott Murphy, Vanir Construction Management’s Central California Area Manager, to Chief Ray Reyna for display at the police facility.
