Popular Franchises and New Market Fuel East and West Side Development in Los Banos

LOS BANOS — Several new businesses are bringing fresh dining and retail options to Los Banos, as confirmed developments take shape on both the east and west ends of the city. From national coffee chains to Hawaiian barbecue and a locally expanding market, construction progress and soft openings signal continued commercial growth in the community.

Two well-known franchises are moving forward with new locations at Stonecreek Plaza on West Pacheco Boulevard. Dutch Bros Coffee and Ono Hawaiian BBQ will occupy two newly constructed pads within the shopping center, located near Target, Petco, and other established retailers. The Los Banos Planning Commission originally approved the site plan in 2022, and after finalizing tenant arrangements in 2024, construction began in early 2025. According to city records and commission reports, the development address is 1443 W. Pacheco Blvd.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ will open its first location in Los Banos in a 2,350-square-foot building featuring both indoor seating and a drive-thru. The neighboring Dutch Bros Coffee will operate a 950-square-foot drive-thru kiosk, marking the company’s second location in town. Its first Los Banos outlet opened in 2020 on East Pacheco Boulevard. Both buildings are now under construction, with walls going up and site progress described by city officials as steady. No official grand opening dates have been announced.

Meanwhile, a new Day & Night Market convenience store and gas station has officially opened at 2510 E. Pacheco Blvd. The store features a Rare Earth Coffee drive-thru, which is already in operation, and plans to introduce additional food offerings soon, including Wangs by Fury wings and Dad’s Cookies. The store held a soft opening this spring, with both city officials and store employees reporting a positive community response. Customers have noted the market’s modern facility and competitive fuel prices as key draws.

Day & Night Market is part of a regional chain expanding across the Central Valley, with the Los Banos location contributing to recent development momentum on the east side of the city. A formal grand opening event may be scheduled later this summer, though no specific date has been confirmed at this time.

Together, these projects reflect active commercial investment across both ends of Los Banos. City-approved plans, tenant confirmations, and ongoing construction activity point to additional options for residents seeking food, coffee, fuel, and convenience—all within city limits.
