Los Banos, CA (December 3, 2025) — A Los Banos man was arrested Tuesday afternoon after police reported finding illegal narcotics, a loaded firearm, and evidence consistent with drug sales during a search tied to a warrant.
According to the Los Banos Police Department, members of the Gang Unit contacted a person inside a parked vehicle around 4:39 p.m. in the 600 block of I Street. Officers conducted a search pursuant to a warrant and reported locating a loaded and concealed pistol, a replica firearm, about three ounces of suspected crystal methamphetamine, digital scales, packaging material, and marijuana packaged in a manner consistent with sales.
Police identified the suspect as 51-year-old Steven Trujillo Sr. of Los Banos. Trujillo was arrested on multiple felony charges, including allegations involving possession of a loaded and concealed firearm by a convicted felon and possession of methamphetamine for sale.
Investigators later searched a residence in the 700 block of Vino Court, where officers say additional evidence tied to drug sales was located.
Trujillo was booked into the Los Banos Police Department Jail. His bail was set at $100,000, according to the department. Police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact Gang Unit Officer Laguna at (209) 827-2512.
