Fatal Collision

On January 13, 2024, a hit-and-run collision occurred at Crows Landing Road and Ehrlich Road in Modesto. The crash involved a Chevrolet Silverado, whose driver was under the influence of alcohol, and a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The collision, resulting from the Silverado driver’s failure to yield the right of way, led to fatal injuries for the motorcyclist. The Silverado driver was arrested for DUI. The incident is being investigated by Officer M. Pender of the California Highway Patrol. The public can contact the CHP Modesto Office at (209) 545-7440 for more information.
